HYDRATE AND BUILD

As estrogen falls, progesterone starts to rise and this can bring those “am I crazy?” feelings. You’re not. Your body is just asking you to slow down, engage less. 

Luteal phase is moving from pitta into vata as the body prepares for your period and your hormone levels drop. 

This is an insulin sensitive time, treat yourself

GROCERY LIST:  “EAT YOUR WATER”; Dates, cinnamon, cacao, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, onion, root veggies/squash, quinoa, brown rice, cucumber, apple, bananas, kale, spinach, collard greens, ACV, protein and heavier fats like ghee as we hit menstruation. 

UP YOUR: Mg, fiber, and morning sunshine exposure.

REDUCE salt intake.
