When you’re feeling unplugged from the Source 🔌

On days when I wake up feeling unplugged from the higher Source (like today), I decide to turn every action into ceremony until there’s a shift. 

I didn’t used to. 

Number one go-to used to be a numb out. Wine, weed, scroll, whatever.

It always backfires. 

Looking for ALIVE through moments I don’t remember or lessons I can’t forget actually robs me of the vitality I’m yearning for. 

The nervous system looks for what it knows, and maybe not what’s best for you…

At some point I was done feigning surprise at my own repetitive actions not yielding a different result. (what a SHOCKER, right?)

If you’re feeling disconnected, here are some of the new go-to actions I lean into. Some days it takes just one thing, some days are HOLD THE LINE and it’s the whole dang list. 

  1. Jam the wake up/ walk out song. Just two minutes of movement will shift energy 🎧

  2. Dance as ridiculously as possible, often 💃🏽

  3. Breathe on purpose 🌬

  4. Get off the screens and outside. LOOK UP ☀️

  5. Phone a friend that helps me remember my power and to dial it all the f’ing way back up 🔌
