Breathwork (Pranayama - PRANA-Life force- YAMA- Breath control) is an active meditation, practiced through two inhales and 1 exhale. This breath pattern is controlled through the mouth for a 25-30 minute period allowing for a powerful transfer to happen from the mind into the body followed by deep rest and integration.
As you’re moving oxygen rapidly in with this particular style of Breathwork, physical activation can take place in the extremities (tingling, numbness, shaking, temperature fluctuation). Essential oils are offered to encourage anxiety to calm along with others to create motivation and focus. Sound healing is included during the experience to help explore finding a rhythm and connection to the breath that eventually becomes fluid and synchronized. Emotions can be evoked throughout this experience and has been a huge alternative way for people to process stored or unprocessed emotions, physical and emotional trauma, and more.
